Catalyst Theatre represents the beginning of a bold new chapter. After dedicating nearly 5 years to help guide the Northeast Florida theatre scene in a more professional artistic direction, she felt called to create something entirely new: a theatre rooted not only in community, but in artistic excellence.
Change is good.
It is not always easy, but sometimes it is necessary.
Now, Sherrie invites you to follow her into a new era of storytelling in St. Augustine, Florida – where you can become part of the community she is building and the movement she is beginning.

The Guilded Cage Supper Club –
A Murder Mystery Dinner
Catalyst Theatre, in partnership with The Venue – Hastings, presents a murder mystery dinner theatre experience.
Step into an evening of mystery, fine dining and interactive entertainment at The Venue–Hastings. It’s 1928 at the exclusive supper club The Gilded Cage. Beginning at 6 p.m., each performance includes a cocktail reception with passed hors d’oeuvres, a three-course dinner and a live theatrical production filled with clues, secrets and unexpected twists. Chef Matthew Brown will prepare dinner for the October 2 and 3 performances, while Chef Ellie Shultze will lead the culinary experience on October 30. Tickets are $125 per person, and advance reservations are required.
